-Attendees will gain an understanding of the current opioid crisis on a national, regional and patient level.
-Attendees will gain an understanding of the pharmacology, efficacy and how to choose between medications: buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone – for opioid use disorder.
H. Samuel (Sam) Landsman, MD is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Geisel School of Medicine. He went to medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA, 2015 and graduated residency in Psychiatry, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH, 2019. He completed a fellowship in Psychiatry at Rhode Island Hospital-Brown University Program, Providence, RI, 2020. He is board certified in psychiatry.
