At the New Hampshire Medical Society, we provide a unified voice for physicians in the state of New Hampshire.
We are committed to advocating for important issues affecting physicians, medicine, and their patients on both the federal and state level. The NHMS Legislative Committee and Public Health Committee continuously monitor legislation and policy initiatives that may affect physicians’ practice environments and access to care. We monitor, attend and testify at public hearings before the Legislature, and organize physician rallies on topics of particular significance to the Society's members. Our advocacy work is always centered around our mission - advocating for New Hampshire physicians and the betterment of public health.
If you are interested in getting involved in this work, or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Director of Advocacy, Ava Hawkes, at 603-406-5270 or ava.hawkes@nhms.org.
