As a Federation of State Specialty Societies, the NHMS prides itself in offering management services to our state’s specialty societies. For more than 25 years, the dedicated, professional staff of NHMS has been managing many of your specialty societies.
NHMS provides management services to specialty societies that not only serve to strengthen and enrich the specialty society but also to increase the relationship between the societies and NHMS. This has increased collaboration in many areas. Such as advocacy and education.
A few of the services we can provide include things such as:
- Financial management, including depositing checks, paying bills, generating financial reports, maintaining filings with the Secretary of State, and tax filings.
- Legislative monitoring and limited lobbying
- Informing the Specialty Society of pending legislation of interest and testifying
- Membership database administration
- Newsletter creation, editing, and distribution
- Website maintenance
- Brochure, flyer, and informational design
- Organizing and attending meetings and conferences
- Representing the Specialty Society at meetings as needed
